Before starting his acting career, Jason Statham has been part of the diving team of Great Britain ( British Diving Squad ) and was ranked twelfth in the swimming world championships in 1992 3 . His father working as a salesman on the sly, his son Jason picked it up.
He was a first casting to 12 years but was refused. Jason had his first role because he knew the wife of an investor who presented to Guy Ritchie , who was looking for actors for his film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels . They met and the character and the sell side on the sly he loved it.
After this first film, the actor turned to the cinema. He will return with Guy Ritchie for two years after Snatch - You pointers or you raques and five years later for Revolver .
But it was his starring role in The Transporter he became world famous.
Since we have seen in action movies like The One , where he starred alongside Jet Li (he end up in Rogue or The Expendables ), Cellular , Chaos and Crank and Crank 2 and in comedies like The Pink Panther (uncredited appearance in the credits).
Recently, he abandoned the one-time action film to shoot The Bank Job , of Roger Donaldson , thriller about a bank robbery by a true story. It also turned Death Race remake of The Death Race of 2000 who once took the stage David Carradine and Sylvester Stallone .
In 2008 , he is playing the third installment of the movie Transporter 3 where he reprized the role of Frank Martin.
His favorite actor is Sylvester Stallone , with whom he played in 2010 Expendables . He reprises his role as Lee Christmas in Expendables 2 which is due out in 2012.
He is currently dating the actress and model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley 4 .
Jason Statham is an English actor, born on 12 September 1967 one in Chesterfield 2 in the UK . It is today best known for his role as Frank Martin in the action film trilogy The Carrier and for his numerous collaborations with Guy Ritchie .
